Welcome to Reefing Canada Inc. (“Reefing Canada,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, services, and online store.

By accessing our website, purchasing products, or booking services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services.

Reefing Canada Inc. provides:

• Marine aquarium maintenance and cleaning
• Water parameter testing
• Equipment servicing
• Emergency response services
• Vacation aquarium care
• Livestock sales (fish, coral, invertebrates)
• Online retail and merchandise
• Educational and media content

All services are subject to availability and may require signed service agreements.

Appointments must be scheduled in advance unless emergency services are requested.

• 24 hours’ notice is required for cancellation of scheduled service appointments.
• Late cancellations may be subject to a service fee.
• Emergency call-outs are non-refundable once dispatched.

Aquarium systems are living ecosystems and inherently carry biological and mechanical risk.

Reefing Canada Inc. is not responsible for:

• Pre-existing livestock illness
• Equipment failure unrelated to servicing
• Power outages
• Municipal water issues
• Customer-provided supplements or additives
• Loss of livestock due to hidden or pre-existing conditions

While we use professional best practices, no service provider can guarantee survival of livestock.

Clients remain responsible for maintaining insurance coverage (if applicable) for high-value systems.

Emergency services are billed at a premium rate. Response time is not guaranteed and may vary depending on availability and weather conditions.

Reefing Canada Inc. is not liable for losses occurring prior to arrival on site.

All livestock sold by Reefing Canada Inc. are live marine animals and carry inherent biological risk.

Once livestock leaves our facility or is delivered:

• Survival is dependent on the buyer’s aquarium conditions
• We are not responsible for improper acclimation
• We are not responsible for incompatible tankmates
• We are not responsible for water chemistry issues in customer systems

If livestock is shipped:

• Claims must be submitted within [2 hours] of delivery
• Clear photographic proof in original sealed bag is required
• Refunds or credit are issued at our discretion

Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Where applicable, livestock imported from international suppliers complies with Canadian regulations, including required documentation and quarantine protocols.

We do not guarantee availability of specific species due to regulatory restrictions or shipping limitations.

All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to:

• Correct pricing errors
• Cancel orders due to inventory issues
• Refuse service

Merchandise items (non-livestock) may be returned within [14 days] if unused and in original condition.

Livestock sales are final unless covered under DOA policy.

Reefing Canada Inc. participates in affiliate programs, including Amazon and other equipment suppliers.

This means:

• We may earn commissions from qualifying purchases
• Affiliate relationships do not influence our educational integrity

We are not responsible for:

• Third-party product quality
• External website policies
• Changes to pricing or availability on third-party sites

Failure to pay may result in service suspension or legal collection action.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Reefing Canada Inc. shall not be liable for:

• Indirect damages
• Incidental damages
• Consequential losses
• Loss of livestock beyond purchase price
• Lost profits
• Emotional distress

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service in question.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Reefing Canada Inc. from any claims arising from:

• Misuse of products
• Failure to follow acclimation instructions
• Violation of applicable laws
• Breach of these Terms

Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of:

Province of Ontario
And the applicable federal laws of Canada.

Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Reefing Canada Inc. reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website constitutes acceptance of any changes.
